The Budget Payment Plan can help avoid the peak bills that come with winter heating or summer air conditioning. Here's how the 'Budget Payment Plan' works:

• A rolling average over the past 12 months is used to calculate a budgeted amount to be paid monthly
• A monthly bill is mailed showing actual usage compared to the budgeted amount
• A budgeted bill must be paid by the normal due date or the account will be dropped
• An account must be current to qualify
